Common questions and solutions to help you get the most out of EasyGarage.

Account & Access

How do I reset my password?

On the login page, click Forgot Password and enter your email address. You'll receive a password reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.

If you're a staff member and can't reset your password, ask your workshop owner or admin to reset it for you from Settings > Staff.

Can I change my subdomain?

Your subdomain (e.g. joes-garage.easygarage.com.au) is auto-generated from your business name at signup. To change it, contact us at hello@easygarage.com.au and we'll update it for you.

Can I export my data?

Yes. You can export your customers, vehicles, jobs, and invoices as CSV files. Go to each section and look for the Export button. If you need a complete data export (e.g. for migration), contact us and we'll provide a full export.

Email & Notifications

My emails aren't sending

If automated emails (booking confirmations, reminders, etc.) aren't being delivered, check the following:

  1. SMTP credentials — Go to Settings > Notifications and verify your SMTP host, port, username, and password are correct
  2. App password — If using Gmail, make sure you're using an App Password, not your regular Gmail password
  3. Port — Try port 587 (TLS) if 465 (SSL) isn't working, or vice versa
  4. Spam folder — Ask your customer to check their spam/junk folder
  5. Template enabled — Make sure the relevant template has the email channel toggled on

Quick test

After configuring SMTP, use the Send Test Email button in Settings to verify everything works before relying on automatic sends.

SMS messages aren't being delivered

Check your ClickSend credentials in Settings > Notifications. Verify that:

Jobs & Bookings

I can't find a booking

New online bookings arrive with the status Booking Not Confirmed. They won't appear on the main calendar until you confirm them. To find unconfirmed bookings:

  1. Go to the Status Board
  2. Look in the Booking Not Confirmed column
  3. Click the booking to review details, then change the status to Confirmed

How do I move a job to a different day?

Open the job and change the scheduled date and time. The job will move to the new slot on the calendar. You can also drag jobs directly on the calendar to reschedule them.

Billing & Subscription

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Settings > Billing and click Manage Billing. This opens the Stripe billing portal where you can cancel your subscription. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Your data is not deleted when you cancel — if you resubscribe later, everything will still be there.

What happens when my trial ends?

At the end of your 14-day trial, you'll be prompted to subscribe. If you don't, your account is paused — you can still log in, but the app will be read-only until you subscribe. Your data is preserved indefinitely.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first month. If EasyGarage doesn't save you at least 5 hours per week, email us at hello@easygarage.com.au and we'll refund your first payment — no questions asked.
