Getting Started with EasyGarage

Go from sign-up to your first invoice in under 30 minutes. This guide walks you through each step.

Need help?

Every Founding Member gets free personal setup. Email us at hello@easygarage.com.au and we'll walk you through everything personally.

  1. Sign up for your account

Head to app.easygarage.com.au/signup and enter your business name, email, and password. Your account is created instantly, along with your own subdomain (e.g. joes-garage.easygarage.com.au). The 14-day free trial starts immediately — no credit card needed.

  2. Configure your workshop

Go to Settings > Business Information and fill in your workshop details: business name, address, phone number, email, and ABN. Upload your logo — it will appear on all invoices, emails, and your booking page.

  3. Set your working hours

Go to Settings > Working Hours. Set the days and times your workshop is open, and how many bays you have. This controls your calendar availability and online booking slots.

  4. Add your first customer

Go to Customers and click Add Customer. Enter their name, phone, and email. Then add their vehicle — make, model, year, and rego. You can also add customers on the fly when creating a job.

  5. Create your first job

Go to the Calendar and click on a time slot. Select the customer and vehicle, add a service type and any notes. The job appears in your calendar and on the status board immediately. Move it through the pipeline as work progresses: Confirmed → In Progress → Completed.

  6. Create and send an invoice

When the job is done, open it and click Build Invoice. Add line items from your Price Book or type them manually. Set quantities, prices, and GST. Then click Send — your customer gets a professional PDF invoice by email, branded with your logo. See the Invoicing & Estimates guide for the full walkthrough.

  7. Set up notifications

Go to Settings > Notifications to configure automatic emails and SMS. Set up your SMTP credentials (or use our defaults), customise your email templates, and choose which notifications to send. Booking confirmations, car-ready alerts, and service reminders can all go out automatically. See the Settings & Configuration guide for details.
