4. Payment Processing

EasyGarage uses Stripe to facilitate payment processing for businesses on our platform. This includes:

• Invoice payments: When a business sends a payment link to their customer, the transaction is processed by Stripe on that business's connected Stripe account. EasyGarage does not store, access, or transmit card numbers or bank account details.
• Rental bond holds: When a rental business collects a security bond via our platform, Stripe places a temporary authorisation hold on the renter's card. The actual card data is handled exclusively by Stripe.
• Recurring rental billing: When a renter consents to automatic recurring charges (e.g. weekly rental payments), Stripe manages the subscription and stores the payment method. EasyGarage only stores a reference identifier (not card data) to manage the rental record.
• Stripe Connect: Businesses on our platform may connect their own Stripe account to collect payments directly from their customers. In doing so, they agree to Stripe's Privacy Policy and Connected Account Agreement.

EasyGarage is not responsible for the payment processing practices of Stripe. We encourage you to review Stripe's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle payment data.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information. Our platform is built on enterprise-grade infrastructure with encryption at rest, automatic backups, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
