- Business Data: Data you enter into the platform, including customer records, vehicle records, job details, invoices, communications, rental agreements, and fleet or dealership records.
- Usage Data: Information about how you access and use our platform, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, and time spent on the platform.
- Analytics and Tracking: We use analytics technologies to understand how our website is used and to improve it. This includes Microsoft Clarity, a third-party session-analytics tool, and our own first-party pageview analytics. Our first-party analytics run from our own code and send data only to our own servers — no third-party advertising networks are involved. They store a randomly generated visitor ID and session ID in your browser's local and session storage, and record the pages you view, the website you arrived from (referrer), and any campaign (UTM) or referral codes contained in your link. We do not use Google Analytics or advertising pixels such as Meta Pixel.

4. Payment Processing
EasyGarage uses Stripe to facilitate payment processing for businesses on our platform. This includes:
- Invoice payments: When a business sends a payment link to their customer, the transaction is processed by Stripe on that business's connected Stripe account. EasyGarage does not store, access, or transmit card numbers or bank account details.
- Rental bond holds: When a rental business collects a security bond via our platform, Stripe places a temporary authorisation hold on the renter's card. The actual card data is handled exclusively by Stripe.
- Recurring rental billing: When a renter consents to automatic recurring charges (e.g. weekly rental payments), Stripe manages the subscription and stores the payment method. EasyGarage only stores a reference identifier (not card data) to manage the rental record.
- Stripe Connect: Businesses on our platform may connect their own Stripe account to collect payments directly from their customers. In doing so, they agree to Stripe's Privacy Policy and Connected Account Agreement.
EasyGarage is not responsible for the payment processing practices of Stripe. We encourage you to review Stripe's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle payment data.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information. Our platform is built on enterprise-grade infrastructure with encryption at rest, automatic backups, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
